PLADD and Beat the Reaper have been selected as the rural county winner of the 2009 County Courthouse Award.
All winners will be honored at the 2009 NACo Annual Conference in Davidson County (Nashville), Tennessee.
Beat the Reaper will be honored at two separate functions, the joint Large Urban County Caucus and Rural Action Caucus Membership Luncheon scheduled for Sunday, July 26th and NACo will at the General Session on Monday, July before a crowd of over 3,000 conference attendees.
This great honor comes along with a $5,000 college scholarship to award to a graduating high school senior in the local area, and a plaque to be presented at the conference.
